Wild March?
March 2012

Our VIllage Panto & Variety ShowSpring is definitely here, the bulbs are out and the days are lengthening.

Spring is sprungOur VIllage Panto & Variety Show went really well, with most performances a sell-out. The children put on a superb panto, the recently formed Community Choir sang some songs and the adults from the drama group did some sketches. Well received performances with lots of laughs and some great sounds.

The weather has been chilly, but mainly dry, so the local cycling has been excellent as you're dressed up warmly enough. With our local group of 'mature' cyclists we went for an excellent 55 mile cycle round the Scottish Borders. We followed the "Four Abbeys route" which is delightful with some super hill climbs, good views and nice wee towns.

Molly at the BeachThere are various events coming up, the Community Choir is putting on an evening at the end of March and we are busy rehearsing "The Odd Couple" as well with the East Linton Drama Group. This will be on in May. Ah the difficulties of learning lines again - and in an American accent too!

The village is starting to brighten up again with more sunshine and all the floral displays starting to burst out around the place.

There are going to be lots of things happening in the village as usual, so keep an eye on the community's website - http://www.eastlinton.uk.com for information.

This month's photos are as varied as ever from various parts of Scotland.

Pay us a visit - it's always great to have guests and introduce them to our beautiful area. Recent visitors have been very pleased with their welcome and the facilities we offer.
