There are several venues in East Lothian  for playing and listening to acoustic music of all kinds:

The Crown Hotel, East Linton.  Second Thursday of the month from 8.30. It's a great venue and the last few sessions have been GREAT - so come along and make it happen for you.

SusanHaddington Folk Club - The club meets at the Mercat Hotel, Haddington every Wednesday from about 8.30 pm. Ra Broons
Most nights we have a sing-around, sometimes with theme nights or special events. Every couple of months we usually have a guest night. We are a friendly, informal bunch and have introduced many folk to their first experience of singing, playing, dancing or poems for others.Come along and join us.

19th October a singaround plus a special set from Guizer, who will be entertaining us for the second half of the evening. As well as being a talented actress, as we saw in “A Posie for Marie Queen of Scots” Madelaine Taylor” with husband Richard is also an excellent musician who’s Bluegrass banjo skill impressed us on their last visit to the Mercat.
They refuse to accept a fee for this gig and would be happy for a collection to be taken for charity.
